Art-o-ber Fest is a function to promote San Angelo’s heritage and ties to the sheep industry; to create an atmosphere to draw customers for the downtown merchants; to promote the artistic community; to create points of interest in the downtown area with the placement of fiberglass sheep; to create fund raising opportunity for DSA and Lions Club; the dinner/dance provided another fund raising opportunity as well as celebration of the event.
